Canada's First Family of Magic
Ken Poynter was only 9 years old when he saw his first magic show and
it was at that moment, as he sat mesmerized with the magical production
that he realized this was his future.  He never looked back.  After years
of being a solo act, performing at Ontario Place, The CNE, and various
theatres he met and married his new apprentice, aptly named believe it
or not, Barbi.  Together for the past 20 years, they have dazzled
audiences around the world performing on cruise ships throughout the
Mediterranean and the Caribbean, Canadian resorts, theatres, television
shows and were even featured on a Barbra Streisand-produced movie
made for HBO and Showtime.
In 1998 their daughter Aria appeared into the world and in 2001 their
second daughter Dallas joined the team.  At the tender age of 3, Aria
officially joined the act and at 4 years old Dallas took to the stage with
the rest of her family making this truly a "Family Show".  The Poynter's
natural flair for balancing drama and humour lends itself to a truly
entertaining fast-paced show for all ages.
